exporting Word 2007 settings
I have set up Word 2007 on my desktop exactly how I like it. I've setup my
spelling and grammar options, have adjusted the toolbars, have added macros, etc. I have a laptop and would like to copy all of those settings to the laptop without having to go through that whole process again. Is there a way to export and import Word 2007 settings? |

exporting Word 2007 settings
I managed (finally) to locate where the Normal.dotm file is stored--(why is
everything in Office 2007/Vista so difficult?!)--and copied it over. That got me my macros, although I still had to add them to the toolbar by hand. The other settings I just sat down and tried to recreate. Am I the only one having all sorts of problems finding things with the total revamping of the Office software? |
