Document not responding
If it is jammed, there is not a great deal you can do but crash out in the
hope that you have autorecover configued and that it works to restore the document you are working on. You could copy first the hidden temporary files in your document folder to a safe location as well as those from the user Temp folder that were created since you started work on the document. There may also be an *.asd file related to the autorecovery. Copy all of these to somewhere safe then press CTRL+ALT+Del and shut down Word. Restart and with luck it should recover. If not you *may* be able to find some or all of your document in the temporary files. If not you are going to be late for class. If you are able to recover the document save it and then close Word and see http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org mxinter wrote: I have to save a document but it says (Not Responding).
