MS Word 2003, Win XP SP2

Spell and grammar check arbitrarily stop functioning, leaving errors behind.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

Select all the text (Ctrl+A), double click language box on bottom status bar,
select language you want in the top top, and de-check the "do not check
spelling or grammar" box, also de-check the "detect language automatically"
box.

Now if you spell check your document, all should be ok.

Check you Normal.dot language setup is clear of any check boxes being set.

The next step is to check that your styles don't have the "do not check
spelling or grammar" as part of their setup.

Hope this helps
