Is it at all possible to create a custom header in Word, based on some sort
of criteria on the corresponding page. For instance, lets take an automatically generated report that contains data for 100 people, each person's report could be between 1 and 5 pages long (total document could be 500 pages long), but somewhere on the first page of each section would appear "Name: Last, First". Is there a way to search for the string: "Name:" and take anything that appears on that line after the colon and insert it, along with a code or string of text, into the header for that section. For example: line in document= Name: Doe, John Header= Here is the section for Doe, John |
