You can't. The best is you can do is use shading. I have an AddIn that you
might find useful: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Highlighter.htm Greg Maxey -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP See: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm For some helpful tips using Word. Wrytir wrote: How do I create the color orange as an option for the highlight tool on the Formatting toolbar? |

Thanks, Greg. I'm in charge of roughly 18 templates for my company and added
the orange shading to a style used for inline instructions. Trouble is, the other 200+ users are not as adept at 1. clearing the formatting; 2. modifying the style; yada ... I was hoping there was some code to create custom highlight RGB colors ... the 15 choices are ... limiting. I do appreciate the definitive answer, though, Greg... and am hoping Microsoft is reading this. Nothing on you, but you'd think they would have created an option to create here. I appreciate the feedback, though. m "Wrytir" wrote: How do I create the color orange as an option for the highlight tool on the Formatting toolbar? |
