Formatting one page in a document with two columns
Insert a "Section Break - Continuous" before and after the area you want to
be 2-columns. Then change the format for columns within this Break. Insert a page break before and after this area if you want it to be a defined seperate page. Hope this helps. "Gordon" wrote: Word 2007 - is it possible to have one page in a multi-page document with two columns? |

Thank you very much - it is actually the last page in the document, so the "after" one is redundant. All I need to do is to resolve the page numbering.... sigh |

If the footer is "same as previous" linked you should not have any problem.
Also check the page number format for "continue from previous section". "Gordon" wrote: "DeanH" wrote in message ... Not necessarily. The last continuous section break (even at the end) will
equally balance the columns if that's the desired result. Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup.
