The Excel guide that is provided for finding commands from Word 2003 in Word
2007 says that it should be under the Home Tab in the Paragraph dialog under Asian Layout. It is not there. Anyone know where I can actually locate it? |

Did you enable East Asian language support in Windows?

Eureka! I was looking for it too & just happened to stumble upon it. \ o /
Some things seem to be semi-hidden in Word 2007. By clicking on the Office icon at the top far right of Word, then at the bottom right-hand side of the window that opens, click on "Word Options / Customize." Then under "Choose Commands from:" select "All commands." Scroll down the alphabetical list to "Phonetic Guide." If "Phonetic Guide" is not on this list, you may need to change your default language settings (Word Options / Popular / Language Settings / Editing Languages / Primary Editing Language).
