In order to help me remember auto text inserts I some times use a hyphen
along with the letters...ie. "aaa" for AAA," aaa-" for abdomianl aortic aneurysm...either are used depending upon the context and the physician dictating. Another example "cad" for CAD and "cad-" for coronary artery disease. The auto text entry always works with and without the hyphen, however sometimes the hypen disappears and other times it remains at the end of the phrase. This happens on the same page. I do not understand. I am a longtime WordPerfect user and it always works correctly there so I do not understand why the hyphen does not always disappear in MS Word. Am I doing something wrong or can I do something to correct this problem? Thank you, -- manny sue |
