Default Microsoft Word

I do not know what had happened as I was editing the table in a word
document, the monitor suddenly turned to standby mode (blank screen). But
working with Excel is fine. The OS is XP. The PC is still running and I have
to press the reset button in order to on the monitor.

Offhand I would guess this is just coincidence and that the issue is with
the monitor. Is the problem reproducible? That is, does the monitor go to
sleep every time you're working in a table in Word?
