Can text that was closed without being saved be retrieved?
I accidentally typed CTRL+w instead of shift+w and subsequently lost a large
part of my thesis, can I get this back? |

No, if it was never saved to disk it cannot be retrieved.

If it was never saved, there's nothing to retrieve.

When you pressed Ctrl+W, did you not get a message asking if you wanted to
