Default Microsoft word Page Problem

hi!
Ive been having a problem with microsoft word in general..I have Microsoft
Word from a Microsoft Works set and I have Microsoft Word 2003. Whenever i
start a new document and am just about to go onto another page with all the
typing, nothing happens and (if you press enter you go all the way down the
page and it automatically brings up page 2) you keep typing the writing
disappears.
Basically i can only do one page documents(really helps when doing 30 page
case studies :P). Does any one know whats caused this as i havent altered any
of the setting on both versions of Word.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
Thanks!

Probably the easiest way to fix the two problems you mention is to close
Word and rename your normal.dot template as described in
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm . If your
current normal.dot contains macros or autotext or formatted autocorrect
entries that you'd like to keep, then you can transfer those to the new
normal.dot using the Organizer tool in Tools | Templates and Addins.
