Turn them off before you save the document. They should remain off until
reselected. See - http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/SaveViewAndZoom.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org TechWriter wrote: How do I hide my doc/template toolbars when the document is opened by a reader? |

Thanks for your reply G.
All my toolbars cooperate EXCEPT the Control Toolbox & the Exit Design Mode toolbars. These 2 continue to reappear when the .doc file is opened even though I clear their check boxes via View Toolbars (clear checkbox), Save and then Close. In the "Save in" field (under the View Toolbars Customize Commands Save in field), I've tried selecting both the file itself & the template attached to the file & then closing (save then close file), but these 2 toolbars keep haunting my documents. (I'm using Word 2003) Thanks in advance for any more advice. "Graham Mayor" wrote: Turn them off before you save the document. They should remain off until reselected.
