When I'm typing in Word, the cursor (vertical line) appears in the first
line, but when I hit my New Line key to go to the next line, the cursor disappears, so that I'm never quite sure where it is. If I hit any of the directional arrow keys, it reappears, but then disappears again when I hit the New Line key. |

Sounds like a possible display issue. The usual suggestions are to make sure
you have the latest driver for your monitor and, if that's not the issue, turn down hardware acceleration a bit. -- Suzanne S.
