If I have several word documents open and also using the internet, in
switching back and forth between the Word documents and sometimes the internet, my Word documents will be thrown into the recovery mode (losing any unsaved data). This of course is annoying and because of it, I'm having to click save very often to keep from losing data. I have not been able to see a pattern of when or why it happens. I work from home in medical transcription and I need to have several documents open at once. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem will be appreciated. |

If Word crashes when you are pasting from web pages, the reason might be that
the pasted data is too complex. You may want to try pasting as "Unformatted Text" instead (Home tab | Paste | Paste Special). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "wannasing46" wrote: If I have several word documents open and also using the internet, in switching back and forth between the Word documents and sometimes the internet, my Word documents will be thrown into the recovery mode (losing any unsaved data).
