Mine may be the coward's way out, but it works: I go to insert/symbol and
find the approprite fraction in the type fonts - Arial is my default and most are there. I also use the Tools/autocorrect/options to replace typed fraction with the symbols. I type a lot of recipes and this has been very convenient. How can I get other numerical fractions to print out (for example, 1/3)? There is the same question on the FAQ page. The page it sends me to gives me an Error 404 message. The MS Feedback page says it's not working. The Help and Support page says I might have to pay if I ask them a question. I went to the "community of users" page and searched for my question with 0 results. After that time-consuming swim in a muddy pond, I hope some human out there can say a few words to point me in the right direction. |
