Default Changing default sub numbering in Word 2007

The default numbering in Word 2007, starts with "1,2,3....". Then after
pressing "enter" and then "tab" the sub numbering that appears is "a,b,c...".

I prefer to use Roman numbering e.g. "I,II,III,IV" etc. as my second level
nubering.

How can I do that automatically for every new document?

Thanks,
Amir.

Hi Amir

I doubt it's possible to do that _reliably_ with default numbering. In
any case, it's a lot better to setup numbering through styles and apply
these. If you do that in a template, it will be available in every
document based on it. If you set this up in Normal.dot, every new
document will have these styles ready.
