Changing default sub numbering in Word 2007
The default numbering in Word 2007, starts with "1,2,3....". Then after
pressing "enter" and then "tab" the sub numbering that appears is "a,b,c...". I prefer to use Roman numbering e.g. "I,II,III,IV" etc. as my second level nubering. How can I do that automatically for every new document? Thanks, Amir. |

Hi Amir I doubt it's possible to do that _reliably_ with default numbering. In any case, it's a lot better to setup numbering through styles and apply these. If you do that in a template, it will be available in every document based on it. If you set this up in Normal.dot, every new document will have these styles ready.
