Default Background colour

I have Office 2007 and would like to change the background colour from blue
as it hurts my eyes.

Can any help please

Word's options in this area are limited.

Click on the Office button, then Word Options. In the Popular tab there is
an option for Colour scheme - changing it to silver or black might help.

Alternatively, working in Draft View might help.

In addition to using Draft View to cut down on the amount of
background color, one could use Text Width in Print Layout View (in Word
2007). To navigate the View | Zoom | Text Width
