Count individual word repition
I would really like to be able to highlight a word in a large document and
find out how many times I have repeated that particular word. Anyone know if this is possible, without doing some replacement 'replace' routine? |

In the Find dialog, check the box for "Highlight all items found" and then
click Find All. Word will select (highlight) all the occurrences and tell you how many there are. -- Suzanne S. Thank you Suzanne. I had to fiddle with it a bit (probably because I am
using Office 2007), but it works great. Just what I needed, and so simple when you know how! As an author this will save me a great deal of work, very many thanks once again. "Suzanne S. Glad I could help. That option, when it was added a couple of versions back,
was completely unheralded, and I don't suppose I would ever have discovered it if someone here hadn't mentioned it. It's one of the lesser-known and underappreciated Word features. -- Suzanne S.
