Default Word's received file from email

Hi all,

I am sending a word file to sombodys through email and when they open the
received file it goes to the benefit viewer mode and they would not be able
to see header and footer i wanted to know can I control it when i am sending
the file so when they receive it, it will open in print layout mode?

any help would be appreciated

If the receivers open the attachment directly from the e-mail, it will open
in Reading Layout if they have the setting "Allow starting in Reading Layout"
in Tools Options General tab turned on (it is turned on by default).

You can ask them to turn off that setting or ask them to save the document
elsewhere and open it from there €“ in that case the document will open in the
view with which it was last saved (by you or somebody else).

I also have Word 2003. "Allow starting in Reading Layout" is found top right
on the General tab (with a check box €“ the only option placed to the right).
