Hi
I wonder if anyone could help me, in Word 2007 it will allow me to insert fields in the address block at the top of a letter but when I try to insert the greeting line, it puts in the same name information I have in the Address Line for example; Mr Fred Jones A Company Address Dear Fred Jones (instead of salutation €“ Fred) If I then manually change the salutation it automatically changes the details at the top of the Address block! Fred A Company Address Dear Fred Has anyone come across this before? Regards Debs |

Don't use the addressblock. Instead use the individual fields formatted as
you require them. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Debs wrote: Hi I wonder if anyone could help me, in Word 2007 it will allow me to insert fields in the address block at the top of a letter but when I try to insert the greeting line, it puts in the same name information I have in the Address Line for example; Mr Fred Jones A Company Address Dear Fred Jones (instead of salutation - Fred) If I then manually change the salutation it automatically changes the details at the top of the Address block!
