I am trying to make a hyper link from my created web site ( I used Front
page) page to a PDF file that ahas been saved onto my computer.... I am new at this step by step how do I do this. THANKS Karl |

I assume that you are not hosting your own web site, or it would have been
obvious that this is not possible. Web site users will not (or should not) have access to files on your hard drive. The better plan is to upload the PDF file to your web site and insert a link to that. Although Graham is correct about this being a non-Word issue, the path requirement is something that Word creators of html are frequently faced with resulting red x's due to the same invalid paths. The soundest solution is to duplicate your website folder structure on your local machine (conputer) and do not link to files outside (such as My Documents) that duplicated file structure. |

This is not a word issue, and should be posted in the FP newsgroups.
With your local FP web open, File | Import the pdf into a folder in your web.
