Sort My Recent Documents alphabetically
When I go to open a file in the new Word 2003 "My Recent Documents" are
sorted by last time used. Anyone know how to get the "My Recent Documents" window to sort alphabetically by the file name? |

Although it can probably be done with a VBA hack, I know of no setting for
that purpose available in Word.|:( " wrote: When I go to open a file in the new Word 2003 "My Recent Documents" are sorted by last time used. Anyone know how to get the "My Recent Documents" window to sort alphabetically by the file name? |

Hi Squish,
If you're talking about the folder from the Places Bar in File=Open, clicking on the top title bar in the dialog will change the sort sequence. If you're talking about those on the bottom of the File menu itself or in the Task pane, then as Taz mentioned those are in LIFO (Last in First Out) order. ------------ " wrote in message ...
