is there a way to nudge text to the right by half a space? There is no such thing in proportional fonts as a fixed "space" width, so a half space is hard to quantify. However, you can select the character before the first one you want to nudge, right-click and go to Font Character Spacing, and set the spacing to Expanded by 2 pt (or any other value, in 0.1 pt increments). Alternatively, you can insert a "four-per-em space" character by typing the hexadecimal number 200a and pressing Alt+X.
