turn off or control automatic sections during merge
I'm merging raw data from a .csv file to create a book. When I do the merge,
everything comes in fine, except that the merge adds sections at each new record. These sections reset the page numbering to 1 for each section. I want to have page numbers count from 1 to end in sequence. Resetting these manually (about 80 times per chapter) is labor intensive. Any ideas how to either set the page numbers to be continuous, or not have new sections with each record? Thank you! - David |

Use a catalog merge rather than a letter merge?

Thank you for your quick reply!
I'm using MS Word 2003 SP1 I do not see a "catalog" option. Am I missing something? or is it not part of this version?
