I want to create a form where my users can put photos in.
I made a standard form for all the employees. I only want to create a
box/field/frame where the employees can put their own photos in when I protect the form. I want to create a selected space where the photo suits. I tried several things but nothing works. The only option I have is to make a textframe where I can put text in, but no pictures. Thank you |

I want to create a form where my users can put photos in.
I know it can be done and that there is a web page that tells how, but I
can't find it. Here is how I would start: Create a macro to be placed on a custom toolbar that floats in your template. The macro would: Pop up a message box asking if the person wants to change / insert a photo from a file. If yes, unprotect the form and display the Word dialog box to insert a picture. Get the name of the file from the dialog box (don't execute it). Insert the picture inside the bookmark, preserving the bookmark. Reprotect the form, not resetting the data. Again, you could have a custom toolbar in your template with a button / menu choice to run your macro. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
