Default comments

I would like to connect two areas with one comment box. Is this possible? I
would like to make the point that more than one area in the text contains the
same error. Thank you.

No. A comment can refer to as large an area as you want, but all of it must
be contiguous. It cannot be two distinct selections.

Actual comment text (not just the text you're commenting about) can be
bookmarked, however. So, one workaround would be to bookmark a comment, and
then refer to that bookmark in another comment. This then lets the two be
linked via the bookmark.
