How does one change the alignment of characters?
I would suggest you use WordArt. The Fade Left shape will give the effect
you want.

I'm trying to increase the font size in a word with each letter that I
type.
So, for example, using my name, Craig, I would like to make the 'r' bigger
than the 'c', the 'a' bigger than the 'r', and so on to the end of the
word.
BUT, I also would like to de-align the font so that the letters are
centered
in relation to one another, and not all resting on the same line. Thus,
the
bottom of the 'r' would be below the bottom of the 'c', not on the same
line
with it, which is what happens if you just change the font size. Can
this
be done in Word, or do I have to go to Adobe Illustrator or something like
that?
Thanks for any responses!
