I know I can do this in Excel through the numbers tab BUT i really want to do
this in Word and I cannot find a way to do it. I would like to select a few cells in a table i created and choose to format them either in currency only or in date form. How can I accomplish this. Thank you in advance Tony |

You cannot do it with a Word table. However, you can insert an Excel
spreadsheet into a Word document and then you will have access to all of the capability of Excel. Other than when you are working in that "table", it will be indistinguishable from a Word table. -- Hope this helps, Doug Robbins - Word MVP Please reply only to the newsgroups unless you wish to obtain my services on a paid professional basis. That's it! Your cells should now be formatted to display numbers or dates according to your preferences.
