The research option keep popping up when i press alt to alter table
dimensions, I know its a shortcut but its annoying and i can't find out how to disable it!!! Any Ideas??? |

Unfortunately, there's no way to disable it, but it requires Alt+click to
bring it up, so try to avoid clicking. There are also substitutes for some of the table shortcuts that require Alt and various kinds of clicks; see the "Selecting parts of a table" section of http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/TableBasics.htm. -- Suzanne S. You can disable the research task pane as follows:
From Word, press Alt-F11 to open the VB Editor. Press Ctrl-G to open the Immediate Window. Type this line and press Enter: Application.CommandBars("Research").Enabled = False |
