Default Colors in Track Changes

I changed the color of markup options to one specific color instead of By
author. The purpose is to see only one color for all user revisions. I
want to share this document to other people, but when I send the document to
other people, they will see multi-colors for the revision marks. Is there
any way to change the color setting for this particular file to show only
one color?

The color choice is determined by the local machine, not the document. Users
would have to change their own settings to see the document as you prefer.

If you go to Tools, Options, Security and select "Remove personal information
from file properties on save," then save the file, all tracked changes will
have the author changed to "Author" and will show up in the same color. It
won't change until you have actually saved the file. I would do this on a
copy, though, in case you want to be able to track the source of a particular
change later.
