Default Delete button


I followed your advice. However the question of "Delete block?No(Yes)" don't
appear anymore but still delete button doesn't response to any highlighted
text.

Default Delete button

The button could be damaged. Is it working in other applications? If not,
try a different keyboard.

The button works perfectly in powerpoint.

Default Delete button

In Tools | Options, Edit tab, is the "Typing replaces selection" option
cleared? If so, check it.

Hi Hooman,

Check to see if you have turned on 'Track changes' but have set the Options to mark deletions as 'none'.

You might also want to check in Tools=Customize=Keyboard to see if the Del key has been assigned to a command other than EditClr
(hit the Del key with the cursor in the 'Press New shortcut' box.
