I have a user whose autotext was working just fine yesterday in her
normal.dot file but today it isn't working.. when we go to insertautotext
all the entries are still there..
But they aren't working..

Any Thoughts

Can you define "isn't working" a bit further? If you type the name of an
existing entry and press F3, does that insert the entry in place of the
name?

If that works, is the problem only that the little yellow prompts don't
appear? If so, look at the Insert AutoText AutoText dialog -- is the box
for "Show AutoComplete" checked? If not, check it -- does that help?

Hi there, apart from Mr. Jay Freedman's opinion above which is the ultimate, you can also check whether your insert key has been pressed or not. It should not be pressed. Check it by pressing once or twice by alternatively trying to write the word and see if the yellow pop-up box opens. Thanks.
