Use Insert\Object... then click on Creat from file tab and check "Display as
icon" checkbox and write the path for the file or use browser button to find the document and OK. "Not a word expert" wrote: I have often seen the Word icon placed in a document as a file. How do you add a file to a typed document - you can click on the W icon and open another file/document. This is not an attachment but looks like the icon is embedded? |
