Moenie worry nie, Hennie! I went to Tools/Customise Keyboard and re-created

I cant remember that your keyboard in South Africa is geared towards the few special letters used in Afrikaans. If you changed the keyboard setting, return to the previous setting and see if it has any effect on the spelling problem.
