I'm using word mail merge to send mails to many users since years... last
time it works! now the button to do this is disabled???!!!! I'm not able to
create a new mail merge document as a mail and if I open an old mail document
I'm no more able to send it as a mail (also not as a fax).

Did you move Word 2002 to a new version of WIndows?

Anyway, for the e-mail problem, start with

http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0002.htm

For the fax, you might find

http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0001.htm

useful.
