Remove any manual line breaks; see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/CleanWebText.htm. You may also want to do this: Select the text and press press Ctrl+1 to get single line spacing. Then, set the Spacing Before and After to zero (in the Paragraph group on the Page Layout tab). (These settings are not necessarily relevant when pasting into an email application, though.) Also, you may want to ask the question in a forum devoted to your email application. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Resume Lady" wrote: When I copy and paste a plain text document into email it appears double spaced, even though I have formatted it as single spaced. I remember once finding a tip online that explained how to change it back to single spacing, but lost that tip and can't find it again. (Also I'm in 2007/Vista now and don't know if it would work the same way.) Any suggestions? Thanks. Deb |
