It's not clear to me exactly what you mean by template documents. My only
guess would be that you're talking about forms, and that Word is set to print only data for forms, and the ones you're trying to print are forms that haven't been filled in. Choose Tools - Options - Print, and if Print data only for forms is enabled, remove the check and see if that fixes the problem. If this isn't the problem, then more information about the problem documents would be useful. How were these documents created? (Note... in Word, *all* documents are created using document templates, so I suspect you're using "template" in a difference sense.) -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "Dan" wrote in message ... This is a recurring problem I have printing particular documents with Word 2003 SP1. I am able to print all the documents but those that I can only describe as ones created with a template. By template, I mean documents that have gray lines on the blank document for label purposes. When I try to print using any means (i.e., File print or the print icon on the bar) the printer powers up and then I get a paper on the printer. The "template documents" are the only ones I am having this problem with. Any help is appreciated. |
