Default Markup always on.

I used the Word viewer at one time and it changed the document so the Markup
function is always on. I bought 2007 and I hoped this would changed, but it
did not. I have raised this question in the past with 2003, but I would like
to no how to turn the Markup off permently in 2007. (I have used Word 2007
Markup to try and turn it off, but it did not work and everytime I up the
document I have to turn the Markup off.)

If there are no tracked changes or comments in your document, then Final
view would look the same as Final Showing Markup view. Word 2002 and
later open in Final Showing Markup view to let you know that your
document contains tracked changes and/or comments, and to save you
possible grief from inadvertently sending the document out that way.
This is a security feature designed to save you from yourself.

Default Markup always on.

One way is to click on the Accept All Tracked Changes and Reject All
Comments commands on the Reviewing toolbar.
