Does Word have a function like WordPerfect's block protect?
Yes. Select your text, right click, and select paragraph. In the box that
opend, select the Lines and Page Breaks tab. Check the box for Keep Lines Together. Sometimes I also select Keep with Next if the first one doesn't work by itself. "Administrivia Maven" wrote: In WordPerfect, you could highlight a phrase or paragraph of text and select "block protect" to assure that that segment would not be separated by a page break. This was useful when multiple edited versions of a document caused frequent changes in page breaks. Is there a similar function in Microsoft Word? Thanks. |
