How did you insert the page number? Did you use Insert/Page Number? If so
then the frame may be too small to display three digits. You have two options: - Preferred method: Edit the header/footer, delete the page number and frame and insert the page number again using the Header and Footer toolbar. - Edit the header/footer, select the frame the page number is in and resize the frame. To select the frame, place your insertion point next to the page number. This should display the frame (hashed lines). Click the edge of the frame to select it and either resize the frame or delete it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beth Melton Microsoft Office MVP https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/Melton What is a Microsoft MVP? http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/gp/mvpfaqs Guides for the Office 2007 Interface: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/tr...295841033.aspx "Aunt Mae" Aunt wrote in message ...
