AutoText
Hi Jason,
Are you in Word or in Outlook using Word as the email editor? Prior to Word 2007 the AutoText entries were grouped by the Word style applied to the entry. There were a couple of tricks MS used to put 'categories' on certain entries out of the box, and it was sort of the hint of what was to come in Word 2007. It is possible to create a Signature and apply a different style to it (or resave it as an updated AutoText entry [redefine] and the entry would then show up under a different category. Are you able to locate the entry in any of the choices? If so, insert it in a document, apply the 'Signature' style to the text and then put it in as a 'New' AutoText entry and you should get asked if you want to redefine the entry. Yes, should put it back in the Signature category. ================= "Jason" wrote in message ... the "signature" optine does not show up in "ALL Entries" on the AutoText tool bar, does anyone konw why? -- Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends* |
