Glad I could help. Note that if you just want to set the defaults for a
single doc, you don't have to open Normal.dotm. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "sammy" wrote in message ... Suzanne...you are the woman ! ! ! And it seems you are the one that answers all the questions i post here. Thank you...again. Sammy "Suzanne S. Note that this will affect text boxes as well as shapes. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "sammy" wrote in message ... Hi All, I am using MS Office 2007 and i often use the Review tab to track changes and add comments. Sometimes, to specify a particular area, i will Insert a Shape (rectangle, circle, arrow...) around or pointing to the area. These are inserted with some defaults that i inevitably use the Drawing Tools Format tab and the Shape Styles panel to change the color to red, the line weight to 1 1/2 points and the fill to none. Is there some way to change these defaults to match my preferences? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Sammy |
