I'm sure everyone's noticed the little mini-font editor that pops up when you
right click in a Word '07 document. Is there a way to customize it (add underline button, etc.)? Office help is turning up nothing, but that doesn't mean much since I don't know exactly what to call that little menu! |

I forget what name Microsoft's marketing crew finally assigned to it, but during the beta tests it was called "the Floatie". -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

"Floatie" gave way to "Minibar" (which I quite liked) and ended up as "Mini
Toolbar." -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Jay Freedman" wrote in message ... Oh, yes, thanks. I guess "minibar" sounded too much like the overpriced
offerings in hotel rooms. :-) On Tue, 5 Aug 2008 16:05:39 -0500, "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: "Floatie" gave way to "Minibar" (which I quite liked) and ended up as "Mini Toolbar." -- Suzanne S. Well, of course, but that was why I thought it was cute.

The right click menu is customisable to a degree ? I have added a command to
paste unformatted text to mine. See http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Customize_...amatically.htm For underline, however I would use the shortcut keys.ie CTRL+U -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Jay Freedman wrote: Caelan Aegana wrote: I'm sure everyone's noticed the little mini-font editor that pops up when you right click in a Word '07 document.
