Default Mouse scrolling in Word 2007 will not work

The mouse will not make any movement in WORD 2007
WORD OPTIONS: I cannot move past POPULAR
The driver on the mouse is fine
The mouse works for all other programs I work with.
NOTE: I do have SNAG IT software that I use and will not remove from my PC

That's a symptom of a damaged registry key. Go to
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErr...ngMenusEtc.htm and follow the
steps under "Deleting and recreating the corrupt registry values". For Word
2007, the key to delete is
\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0 \Word\Data
