Ahhhh! Thanks. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that I use the ancient Word 97. I was able to go to Format|Styles and modify the Tabs. Bless you! Laura |

Glad I could help. In Word 97 it should be quite efficient (and sufficient)
just to move the tab in one TOC entry and watch the others fall in line. -- Suzanne S.
