Default Comments

When inserting a comment, there are certain things automatically put into the
comment (user, date & time and the word 'commented'). Can I have these auto
texts removed leaving only the actual comment and if so, how?

Default Comments

You can't remove them, but you can reduce/anonymize them by checking the box
for "Remove personal information from file properties on save" on the
Security tab of Tools | Options.
