Default can not save file while in use by another process

I get the message can not save autorecovery file while in use by another
process. How can I fix this problem? It is a technical document with
equations, inserted drawings in eps, excell and vision and pasted from the
clipboard. I do not know what caused the problem

If the message occurs when you are editing the Excel or Visio objects
then I've encountered this in the past too. What it means is Word is
attempting to save the AutoRecovery file, a file that is only used
should you encounter a crash, and it's unable to due because you are
using other processes, such as editing the embedded objects. I don't
know of any fixes for it.

No harm is being done, so in a way it's not really a problem - except
a bit of annoyance. :-)

The message occurs continously while the document is open in Word. Not when I
edit the Excell or Visio objects.

I think it's still related - I think it also has to do with the temp
files that are created. What version of Word are you using? IIRC, this
occurred more with Word 97 and Word 2000.

In any event, like I said before, there isn't a fix for it -
unfortunately is more of a nuisance than anything else.

I am using Word 2003. The problem seemed to be solved after I substituted a
inserted *.eps file with a *.tif file. Thanks for your assistance.
