Default Corrupt tables

Thanks but I found out the logo is very small. I did find a fix that seems
to be taking care of the problem. I saved the document as an .htm then
saved it back to a .doc. That has worked very well so far. It cut the size
of the file by almost 1/2 and they have gotten further on it than they have
before with no problems.

I'd start by looking at the logo as Peter suggests. (The message about
insufficient memory is a clue: Word uses that message for generic "there's
something wrong and I don't know what" errors.)

However, some documents do tend to develop a problem with corrupt tables.
This can be very tedious to deal with, as Word has some ability to rescue
the document when you re-open it, and it remains stable until you try to
do something in the corrupt table itself. Try stepping through the tables
and do something in each one. If you can narrow it down to a single table
or section of the document, the best fix is usually to start a new
document and copy everything else across.

I know this isn't much to go on but I have to try. I have a user that
believes his word document is getting too large to work with. It is full
of tables and had a logo inserted into the first page. He gets to the
point where he gets an error that his document has a corrupted table. I'm
not sure yet when exactly this happens or what exactly he is doing. I
have a copy of the doc at a stable point in it's usage. The file right
now is only 620kb. That doesn't seem very large to me. It's 56 pages,
half of which are tables. He also gets some message about not having
enough memory to save when he inserts a logo. Again, I'm not exactly sure
how he is doing things. Another user also had this problem with this same
document. Is there anything in particular that would corrupt tables in
word? I know 1 user has 2003, maybe both. Any help with what little I
have given you would help.

Thanks in adavance.
