If your instructor requires APA formatting, the advantage is that you are

Given that the intent of the question was totally vague and given that, as
you said, it sounded like a homework question... I didn't mention that the primary disadvantage for me is that, after 40+ years of using "Chicago" style, I find APA style a real bitch. -- Suzanne S.
