Drop-Down Form Field with image
I have a Word document with a Drop-Down Form Field with people's names. What
I would like to do is somehome include the signature image with this. I would like to keep the field with the name, and when it is changed change the signature image to match. Anybody have any examples or ideas about how to do this? I would also like to imbed the images into the Word document if at all possible so it is more portable. Thanks! |

Unless the document is already a protected form, you might use an
AutoTextList field (see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/AutoTextList.htm). The name of each AutoText entry in the list can be a name, while the content of the entry is the corresponding signature graphic. It's easy to delete AutoText entries and create new ones, and the list (unlike a form field dropdown) is not limited to 25 entries. -- Suzanne S.
